Challenge
Vauxhall needed to reposition its Mokka-e electric vehicle beyond specs and into stories of real lives and passions, helping the brand connect emotionally and authentically with an audience embracing change.
Goal
To develop a documentary-style campaign in collaboration with The Independent, following six diverse UK-based talents who drive the Mokka-e as they pursue their careers and hobbies — from wild swimming to vintage restoration — showing the EV not just as a car, but as an enabler of lifestyle and purpose.
Result
We built a beautiful set of documentaries alongside Hogarth, with a huge uplift in Mokka-e awareness, social engagement, positive sentiment around sustainability and driving innovation; deeper connection with younger eco-conscious audience.
We turned electrification into expedition. Everyday routes became bold stories. The Mokka-e was no longer just a vehicle — it was a companion for pursuit, powered by possibility.
